Bob Crockett

Bob Crockett became a Certified SOAR Consultant in 2007. Bob began his professional career by following his interest in building boats to Nova Scotia. He grew the boatbuilding business, Crockett, McConnell Inc., into a venture-backed, multi-million dollar manufacturer of aluminum small craft. A leader in the application of technology to the industry, the company sold its products from the Canadian Arctic to Singapore. It was subsequently sold to Eastern Canada's largest shipyard group in the late 1980s.

Bob devoted the next decade to helping other entrepreneurs to plan, finance and grow their businesses. Beyond consulting, he created an entrepreneurship-training program for unemployed adults and encouraged local seed capital investment. In 1990, Bob joined a few others in buying a struggling medical diagnostics company, Precision BioLogic, Inc., now a leader in its field. He remains involved as a board member.

Bob moved to Florida in the late 90's where he earned an MBA from the University of South Florida while completing training as a professional coach. Since then he has coached more than 100 individual clients and groups, taught Strategic Management at USF and managed his own investments for superior returns. He is particularly interested in the role culture plays in business success and how it is created in organizations.
